Integrated Risk Management Platform for School

The solution comprises a digital system with a mobile built with offline capabilities to conduct field based assessments and a web application that consolidates, analyzes, and visualizes data received from the app and combines it with topographical, weather and climatic data to compute risk values for a school. The system relies on primary data for vulnerability assessment of schools (through a digital toolkit comprising all aspects related to school safety) collected by either trained enumerators/citizens or the school management itself.

It also allows integration of hazard maps (single or multi-hazard) and real-time weather information (current weather and forecast). These data are then used to compute a risk score for the school (considering spatial proximity to hazards, likeliness of climate induced disasters, and other user defined factors). It ultimately generates a risk profile of the school that can be periodically updated. Awareness materials can be attached to be viewed by the public users (students, citizens, parents, etc.).
